Netcare is hiring South African jobseekers to fill the position of their Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) Assistant job opportunity in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

Role Summary:

The CSSD assistant is responsible for the execution of procedures and tasks to clean, prepare, pack and sterilize unsterile instruments, linen and consumables and to supply sterile requirements to theatre and other auxiliary departments in the hospital.

Inherent Requirements:

• grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4
• Knowledge of Infection Control & Prevention
• Knowledge of safety hazards in CSSD and Theatre
• Understanding the different instruments and its uses
• CSSD Foundation Course certificate will be advantageous
• Private hospital experience will be advantageous
