The names  of the decease has not yet been released but the next of kin has been notified .It was said that the deceases and the person who stabbed her were in a romantic relationship.

This incident happened at the Nelson Mandela University Goerge campus.The decease was staying on an on campus residence .What led to the tragic incident has not yet been revealed.

Zandile Mbabela the Nelson Mandela University spokesperson says that the boyfriend visited the decease in the residence she stayed at and that’s when everything happened.

The university has offered counselling and psychosocial support 

mechanisms, including pastoral services to the students and staff members that were affected by this.The incident has left everyone shaken and students feeling unsafe.The Nelson Mandela University  sends condolences to the family of the decease .
