Job Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Attendant, you will play a critical role in the efficient operation of the depot. Your responsibilities include:

• Loading and offloading palletized cement, bulk bags, and stock stacking in the yard.
• Ensuring transporter vehicles are loaded per weight distribution and traffic regulations.
• Reporting product breakages or missing bags.
• Confirming correct product types, packaging, and quantities for loading.
• Assisting in the re-bagging and repacking of cement as per procedures.
• Operating a forklift to move palletized products efficiently.
• Adhering to Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must have:

• Educational Background: Grade 12, Amended Senior Certificate, NCV Level 4, or Technical Matric (N3 with 4 technical subjects and 2 official languages).
• Forklift License: A valid forklift driver’s license.
• Experience: At least 1 year in a related industry, with experience operating bulk handling equipment and forklifts.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in forklift operation.
• Understanding of depot safety practices and pallet stacking procedures.
• Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental risks.
