Key Responsibilities
As a Driver Supervisor, your duties will include:
- Driver Performance:
- Monitor and oversee driver performance metrics.
- Identify improvement opportunities and create action plans for underperforming drivers.
- Recognize and reward top-performing drivers.
- Compliance:
- Ensure drivers meet all quality standards through regular field assessments.
- Escalate issues where compliance is not met.
- Reporting:
- Generate reports on driver performance and KPIs.
- Use data insights to suggest improvements for driver efficiency.
- Driver Supply:
- Track daily attendance and ensure SLA and coverage are met.
- Relationship Building:
- Develop strong relationships with drivers and client store managers.
- Provide feedback on store processes and ensure adherence.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must have:
- A Grade 12 certificate.
- An own vehicle (roadworthy with comprehensive insurance and third-party liability).
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
- A customer-centric approach and understanding of driver needs.
- Familiarity with the gig economy or on-demand service platforms.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and data manipulation using MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required.
