Position 1: Driver Operator Earth Equipment (Ref No: REFS/021980)

Position 2: Driver Operator Earth Equipment (Ref No: REFS/021981)
- Branch: Roads
- Directorate: Road Maintenance and Fleet Services
- Salary: R155,148 per annum (Plus Benefits, Level 3)
- Location: Tshwane Region
Requirements
For Both Positions:
- Education: NQF Level 2 (Grade 10 Certificate or equivalent).
- Experience:
- Ref No: REFS/021980: 3–5 years relevant experience.
- Ref No: REFS/021981: 5 years relevant experience.
- Licenses and Certificates:
- Valid Driver’s License (Code EC for Ref No: REFS/021981).
- Operating Certificate (for Ref No: REFS/021981).
- Skills:
- Ability to operate specialized equipment such as graders, trucks, and TLBs.
- Good communication skills.
Duties:
- Operate specialized equipment and machinery for construction and road maintenance tasks.
- Perform inspections, minor repairs, and maintenance of vehicles and machinery.
- Transport work teams, materials, and equipment.
- Keep log sheets for vehicles and machinery.
- Grade gravel roads and conduct shoulder maintenance.
- Apply safety and precautionary measures during operations.
