Vodacom has partnered with the e-waste management industry to offer this learnership opportunity to young people interested in e-waste management skills. Vodacom’s e-waste Management Learnership Programme is aimed at young, unemployed individuals who are passionate about the environment and eager to gain valuable skills in e-waste recycling.

To be considered for this learnership programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Must have Matric (Grade 12) certificate with Maths or Maths Literacy and Science.
  • Must be from a disadvantaged background
  • Must be currently unemployed and not enrolled in any other learnership or educational programme.
  • Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
  • Reside in Gauteng Province (proof of residence required).
  • Basic computer literacy and good communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team environment.

Required Documents:

  • A certified copy of your ID.
  • Proof of residence.
  • A certified copy of your Matric certificate.
  • A detailed CV highlighting any relevant experience or skills.
  • A motivational letter explaining why you are interested in the e-waste management field and how you believe this learnership will benefit your career.
