The Administration Officer will be responsible for rendering transport administration services within the district. Duties include issuing vehicles based on approved itineraries, managing the vehicle control register, inspecting government vehicles, and ensuring that closed and log sheets are submitted to head office monthly. The officer will also facilitate vehicle services and repairs, report accidents to the police, and submit accident reports to head office.
Further responsibilities include providing secretariat services, rendering telecommunication services, and overseeing human resource management services in the district. The officer will monitor cleaning and maintenance services, conduct Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) inspections, and maintain stock registers. Additionally, the role involves maintaining records management filing systems to ensure the safe keeping of records.
