United Manganese of Kalahari (UMK) - Mineral Processing Learnership

United Manganese of Kalahari (UMK) is inviting South African jobseekers with Grade 10/ABET or higher to apply for a Mineral Processing Learnership.

JOB PURPOSE:

The program is aimed at equipping candidate/s wishing to undergo training and development in mineral processing to exp their knowledge and benefit from on-the-job training in the Processing Department and acquire SETA accredited qualifications on the follow skills programs:

• Ore Reception (MQA accredited)
• Ore Crushing (MQA accredited)
• Scrubbing and Screening (MQA accredited)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 10/ABET Level 4.
• Applicants must be from the JTG District Municipality/Joe Morolong Local Municipality.
• Demonstrate technical skills, basic communication and report writing skills.
• Be disciplined and responsible.
• Positive attitude, dependable, ethical, and reliable.
• Be declared medically fit for the role and to meet the minimum standards of fitness to work in a mining environment
