Siza Water Electrician Learnership

Siza Water is looking for unemployed South African jobseekers with Grade 12/N3 to apply for Electrical Engineering Learnership.

The successful applicant is required to perform the following key functions, amongst other duties:

• Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems within the organisation.
• Participate in planned and unplanned maintenance activities at water treatment works, pump stations, and reservoirs.
• Support fault finding and troubleshooting of electrical faults and equipment such as motors, VSD’s and basic instruments.
• Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Complete learnership assignments, logbooks, and assessments as required.
• Assist with sump cleaning.
• Complete standby duties.

Learnership Requirements

• Matric (with Mathematics and Physical Science preferred)
• N2 – N3 Electrical Engineering Certificate
• Previous exposure to industrial environments
• Code 10 Driver’s License
