Sassa grant realise a new statement top up child support Grant with R240 the child will receive R480 plus R240 which will bring it to R720 per months.

The new CSG Top-up was made official when the Department of Social Development gazetted the proclamation of the Social Assistance Amendment Act. 

This grant is listed as one of the government’s most successful social protection interventions for children living in poverty and reaches more than 13 million children around the country.

• The primary care giver must be a South African citizen, permanent resident or refugee.
• Both the applicant and the child must reside in South Africa.
