Job Description
The RAF Internship Programme is designed to develop youth skills by offering practical work experience in a dynamic environment. As an intern within the Claims Operations Department, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and operational tasks that support RAF’s mission of providing financial aid to road accident victims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain client information databases to ensure accuracy.
- Generate and send invoices and statements to claimants.
- Track and report on the progress of payouts.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of unusual occurrence procedures.
- Draft and edit briefs, technical papers, letters, and memos for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and report emerging risks within the department.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of claims and queries.
- Conduct duplicate checks on invoices to ensure accuracy before processing.
- Validate expert invoices, expert details, and supplier claims.
Qualifications and Required Documents
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certified Grade 12/NQF 4 level certificate.
- Certified copy of National Diploma or B Degree in Finance or a related field.
- Knowledge of Motor Vehicle Accident Legislation is advantageous but not required.
Required Documents:
- Certified copy of South African ID.
- Certified copies of academic transcripts.
- Updated CV.
