Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate:
- English (ability to read and write)
- Mathematics (Pure Mathematics, NOT Mathematics Literacy)
- Physical Science
- Engineering Graphic Design (EGD) – advantageous
- Technical Subject: Welding/Platers Theory – advantageous
- N3 Certificate:
- English
- Engineering Mathematics (N3)
- Engineering Science (N3)
- Trade-Related Theory (N3) subject (Welding/Platers Theory – advantageous)
- NCV L4 Certificate:
- English (NCV L4) or First Additional Language (NCV L4)
- Mathematics L4 (Pure Mathematics, NOT Mathematics Literacy)
- Engineering Science:
- Engineering Processes L4
- Professional Engineering Practice L4
- Applied Engineering Technology L4
- Trade-Related Theory Subject: Welding/Platers Theory must be included
