Requirements:
- Grade 1: Successful completion of a Basic Life Support (BLS) course and registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a BAA.
- Grade 3: Successful completion of an Intermediate Life Support (ILS) course and registration with the HPCSA as an AEA.
- A Senior Certificate is advantageous for both grades.
- Inherent Requirements: Valid code C1 driver’s licence, a professional driver’s permit (PrDP), and physical and mental fitness.
