Job Description

The RAF Internship Programme is designed to empower unemployed graduates by offering them work-based exposure in the Claims Operations Department. Interns will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of claims processing, contributing to the organization’s mission of providing timely compensation to road accident victims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update client information databases.
  • Generate and dispatch invoices and statements to claimants.
  • Monitor and report on payout progress.
  • Implement procedures for handling unusual occurrences.
  • Assist in drafting and editing briefs, technical papers, letters, and memos.
  • Identify and report emerging risks within the department.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of queries.
  • Conduct duplicate checks on invoices before issuing.
  • Validate expert invoices, expert details, and supplier claims.

Qualifications and Required Documents

Qualifications:

  • Certified Grade 12/NQF 4 level certificate.
  • Certified copy of National Diploma or B Degree in Finance or a related qualification.
  • Basic knowledge of Motor Vehicle Accident Legislation is advantageous.

Required Documents:

  • Certified copy of your ID.
  • Certified copy of academic transcript.
  • Updated CV and a motivational letter (maximum of 3 pages).
  • Certified copies of the above-mentioned qualifications.
