Job Description
The RAF Internship Programme is designed to empower unemployed graduates by offering them work-based exposure in the Claims Operations Department. Interns will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of claims processing, contributing to the organization’s mission of providing timely compensation to road accident victims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update client information databases.
- Generate and dispatch invoices and statements to claimants.
- Monitor and report on payout progress.
- Implement procedures for handling unusual occurrences.
- Assist in drafting and editing briefs, technical papers, letters, and memos.
- Identify and report emerging risks within the department.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of queries.
- Conduct duplicate checks on invoices before issuing.
- Validate expert invoices, expert details, and supplier claims.
Qualifications and Required Documents
Qualifications:
- Certified Grade 12/NQF 4 level certificate.
- Certified copy of National Diploma or B Degree in Finance or a related qualification.
- Basic knowledge of Motor Vehicle Accident Legislation is advantageous.
Required Documents:
- Certified copy of your ID.
- Certified copy of academic transcript.
- Updated CV and a motivational letter (maximum of 3 pages).
- Certified copies of the above-mentioned qualifications.
