Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Administrative Support and Coordination role include:
- Managing administrative and coordination activities within the office of the Executive Authority.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding matters related to the Executive Authority's portfolio.
- Providing Cabinet/Executive Council support services to the Executive Authority.
- Supervising employees within the private office.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in administration/public administration or an equivalent qualification at NQF level 7.
- Experience: Six years of relevant experience, with at least three years at the Assistant Director Level.
- Additional Skills and Knowledge:
- Broad understanding of the functional areas covered by the Executive Authority's portfolio.
- Proven management competencies.
- Knowledge of the political and parliamentary processes in South Africa.
- Computer literacy.
- Flexibility, strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal relations.
- Analytical thinking, leadership, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Understanding of Public Service Regulations and related prescripts.
- License: Valid driver’s license.
