Job Description

The Administration Clerk will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the Land Court. Responsibilities include:

  • Testing and operating court recording equipment, ensuring its safekeeping and maintenance.
  • Accurately recording court proceedings.
  • Providing comprehensive administrative and case flow management support to the Judiciary, Chief Registrar, Court Manager, and/or Supervisor.
  • Upholding confidentiality and ensuring that court proceedings are documented and managed effectively.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Minimum Requirements: A Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Previous experience in general administration or court-related functions, particularly in court recordings and case flow management, will be advantageous.
  • Licenses: A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and solve problems.
  • Strong customer service orientation and document management skills.
