Nestlé is inviting unemployed youth to apply for its Millwright Apprenticeship Programme based in East London, Eastern Cape. This is a 4-year fixed-term contract designed to develop technical expertise through hands-on training and mentorship.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Educational Qualifications:
   • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering N2 Certificate or equivalent.
   • Matric/National Senior Certificate with Mathematics and Science.
2. Experience:
   • One year of experience in a technical environment (advantageous).
3. Skills:
   • Computer literacy.
   • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
   • Self-starter with strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
   • Team player with a strong focus on personal development and achieving results.

Role Responsibilities (Under Supervision):

• Technical Work:
  • Assemble, install, and dismantle machinery.
  • Operate and repair machinery to understand functionality.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on Electrical, Instrumental, and Mechanical equipment.
• Project Participation:
  • Engage in energy and water-saving initiatives.
  • Contribute to innovative and reliability improvement projects.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work with production and engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards (5S methodology).
