NECSA Apprenticeship Training Programme (2025–2027)

Necsa is Looking for South African Jobseekers in the Following Trades: Boilermaker, Electrician, Fitter & Turner, Welder, Instrumentation, Mechanical Fitter, Toolmaker, Millwright, and Metal Machinist

Minimum Requirements

(Requirements are arranged for easier reading without altering original wording)

  • NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) with Maths and Science, or
  • N2–N6 with 4 subjects and relevant trade theory included, or
  • Technical Matric with Maths, Science and relevant trade theory included, or
  • NCV Level 3/4 Engineering Certificate with 7 subjects and relevant trade theory included.

Additional requirements:

  • Technical knowledge
  • Must be able to work in a team
  • Must pass medical fitness check, security clearance, qualification verification, and technical assessment
  • Must attend interviews if shortlisted
  • Only South African citizens will be considered
  • Applicants must not have participated in a previous NSF-funded apprenticeship
  • Previous 2024 applicants may re-apply
