Job Description

The Monocle Foundation is offering bursaries to black female students who are currently enrolled in or planning to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies in the following fields:

• Engineering

• Mathematics
• Medicine

Other fields of study may also be considered based on the applicant's motivation and the foundation's discretion.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the bursary:

• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must be female.
• Must be Black (African, Coloured, Indian, or Asian).
• Must have completed Matric.
• Must be enrolled in or intending to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in one of the listed fields.
• Must be in their second or higher year of study at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
• Must demonstrate financial need, with limited to no funding for their education.
• Must not be receiving any other bursary funding.
