Internship Description
The MQA invites qualifying individuals to apply for an internship opportunity within its Finance Unit. This program offers unemployed graduates who have never participated in an internship the chance to gain valuable work experience over a period of twenty-four (24) months. The intern will report to the Finance Manager and will be involved in various financial and administrative tasks including:
- Processing invoices on accounting software
- Processing electronic payments
- Creditor’s statement reconciliations
- Processing journals
- Creditors control account reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Financial internal controls
- General administration in a finance environment
- Additional tasks as delegated by the supervisor
Requirements
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have a Grade 12 or matric certificate
- Must possess a National Diploma or equivalent at NQF level 6 in the Financial and Accounting field
- A Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent at NQF Level 7 in the Financial and Accounting field is advantageous
