Duties & Responsibilities:

• Planning of warehouse floor and stacking/storing of goods
• Ensure the correct goods are properly and safety packed
• Advise employers and employees about health and safety management systems and work practises
• Transferring returns received back to the inventory department
• Liaising with the inventory department on a daily basis
• Conduct stock takes as and when required
• Responsible for the receiving and unpacking of incoming stock
• Ensure accurate stock records are kept
• Manage stock rotation and shrinkages in main- and bond warehouse
• Any other reasonable instruction as and when required

Experience and Qualification:

• Grade 12/Matric
• Certificate in logistics or studying towards logistic diploma advantageous
• At least one-year supervisory experience
• Knowledge of warehousing and distribution practises
• Excellent planning skills
• Attention to details and accuracy
• Good communication skills
• General administration skills
• Clear criminal record
