Job Description

The Legal Internship offers a monthly stipend of R10,600 and is located in the Eastern Suburbs of Johannesburg, Gauteng. As an intern, you will receive comprehensive training and gain valuable workplace experience by undertaking the following responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support in the Legal department.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for the Legal Officer.
  • Open and maintain legal files in accordance with standard legal practices.
  • Assist with legal administration tasks.
  • Organize and manage legal documents and case files.
  • Check and monitor standing instructions.
  • Assist the Legal Officer with legal research.
  • Support the development of tender contracts.
  • Maintain the Contracts Register, ensuring it is current and accurate.
  • Keep records and a database of legal service providers.
  • Maintain a database of legal opinions.
  • Address adhoc requests from the Legal Services management.
