The Hospital Finance Administrator will assist the Hospital Financial Accountant with various financial transactions. The incumbent will be responsible for the capturing of service payments on SAP System as well GRV invoices on Order logistics system and to liaise with CPD and suppliers on the timeous payment of suppliers. The creditors clerk will be required to complete credit administration tasks in the hospital finance department .

Key work output and accountabilities

• Process GRV’s upon receipt on Order logistics and SAP system and ensure the filing thereof.
• File all invoices and assist with handling supplier queries.
• Manage to decrease monthly outstanding list, follow up with suppliers and ensure all orders raised are closed.
• Prepare all OTV and sundry invoices as well as requested documents for sign off by Accountant.
• Prepare monthly payments for municipality accounts for timeous submission to CPD.
• Ensure Tax invoices comply with VAT requirements.
• Ensure all manual payments are made on time.
• Prepare list of accruals at month-end.
• Prepare and manage the open SAP order list and the CPD outstanding list to follow-up on outstanding documents.
• Print monthly all open and partial orders and follow up with the relevant person and prepare a spreadsheet with reasons why still outstanding for sign off by Accountant.
• Follow-up and resolve outstanding queries on monthly Age analysis.
• Prepare document pack for new vendor requests and log relevant sigma.
• Ensure that signed petty cash slips are captured on SAP and that expenses incurred are processed.
• Reconcile the petty cash to all supporting documentation prior to the replenishment of the petty cash float.
• Ensure the validity, accuracy, and completeness of petty cash slips

What you will need

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
• Bookkeeping course or Diploma in Accounting will be an advantage.
