The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced the grant beneficiaries a new exciting easy way that they use to receive their Sassa grant payments in their bank Accounts.
How to change payment method
Social grant recipients who choose to get their social grant payments through their personal bank account must bring along the following documents to SASSA: SOUTH AFRICAN SOCIAL SECURITY AGENCY .
- Proof of bank account received from the bank
- Three months bank statement that depicts the personal details of the client such as names and bank accounts
- Proof of Identity
SRD Grant
COVID-19 SRD recipients as payment method changes for that particular grant are strictly done on the SRD website
ACCESS YOUR SASSA GRANT WITHOUT A GOLD CARD
Postbank said SASSA beneficiaries whose cards have expired or are soon to be expired no longer need to go to Post Office branches as they can access their grants safely and free at participating retailers like Shoprite, Usave, Boxer, Pick n Pay and Boxer.
To use this new method, beneficiaries need to bring their ID documents and use their SASSA/gold card PIN.
