First Bench Sassa October R350 Payments Schedule. The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced that the first batch of R350 social relief of distress (SRD) grant payments for October will be made to beneficiaries who are on the first bench.

The SRD grant payments for October 2023 will be dispersed starting on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, with Sassa hoping to finish processing by Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
Beneficiaries should be aware that payment dates may differ based on the payment method selected. Those who receive their payments through bank accounts may receive them sooner. please note it may take 3 days for payments to reflect in your bank.

Unemployed individuals in need of financial support are invited to apply for Sassa's R350. The R350 grant will now be available until March 2024.

- Click on the 'click here to apply on online' button
- Enter your cell phone number and click 'send SMS'
- A One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to the number you provided
- Enter the OTP
- Confirm and accept the Clauses in the Declaration and Consent documents
- Enter your personal details
- Provide your cell phone number, employment information and lifestyle sustainability information
- Provide your banking details
- Follow the prompts to complete your application
