Job Description
As an Artisan in the Workshop Mechanical unit, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and repairing mechanical faults according to standards.
- Testing and repairing equipment and/or facilities against specifications.
- Servicing equipment and/or facilities according to a set schedule.
- Ensuring quality assurance for serviced and maintained equipment and/or facilities.
- Keeping and maintaining job records/registers of maintained and repaired faults.
- Writing and submitting reports as required.
Requirements
Candidates interested in applying for this position must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of an appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
- Proficiency in the operation of relevant equipment, tools, and materials.
- General knowledge of the built environment.
- A valid driver’s license.
