What you will need:

Requirements :

• Grade 10 or equivalent; knowledge and application of Batho Pele principles, and procedures related to asset management. Years of experience and relevant knowledge will be an added advantage.

Duties :

• Assist with receiving of furniture and bar-coding, installation of assets and recording of movement; Updating all Supporting registers. Issuing assets to various divisions in the hospital. Load and offload assets from internal delivery truck and hand them to the Wards. Perform physical verification, spot checks on all assets and capturing of asset verified in inventory list. Delivery of urgent asset on emergency to the Wards and ect. Render asset control, general Service such as collection of broken, unserviceable, redundant and obsolete assets from end-users. Deliver newly acquired assets to various wards and sections according to their needs. Ensure that all serviceable equipment is serviced regularly. To keep separate record of assets that are frequently repaired. Handle disposal procedures of all assets including office furniture and computer equipment’s. Make sure that there are no scraps around the yard and unutilized equipment and furniture in the hospital; To keep track and do follow ups on assets that have been sent out for repair.
