DHET and College of Cape Town: Learnership Programme 2025

The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), in partnership with the College of Cape Town, invites unemployed youth to apply for a 12-month Learnership Programme in Contact Centre and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Support.

Programme Details

• Qualification: NQF Level 3 in Contact Centre and Business Process Outsourcing Support.
• Duration: 12 months (full-time).
• Location: College of Cape Town, Gardens Campus.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 04:00 pm.

Minimum Admission Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

• Hold a minimum qualification of NQF Level 2 or higher.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Be unemployed and aged 18–34 years.
• Not be currently studying or owing fees to the College of Cape Town.
• Be willing to travel to Gardens Campus daily.
• Not have previously participated in a learnership programme.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following:

1. Updated CV.
2. Proof of address.
3. Certified copies of your highest qualifications or statement of results (certification not older than 3 months).
4. Certified copy of your ID (certification not older than 3 months).
5. Affidavit stating that you are unemployed.
