About the DSTI-NYS Programme
The DSTI-NYS is part of the government’s broader National Youth Service Programme, managed by the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement under the National Research Foundation. This initiative seeks to equip unemployed graduates under 35 with practical skills and opportunities to reduce unemployment, foster community service, and prepare them for South Africa’s economy.
Participants will gain valuable work experience, develop professionally, and contribute meaningfully to South Africa’s development. While the programme primarily targets graduates in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), it occasionally accepts graduates in other fields based on recruitment needs.
