Job Description

As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the hospital or clinic to which you are assigned. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provision of Cleaning Services: Perform general cleaning duties, including the collection and removal of waste, freshening office areas, emptying and cleaning dirt bins, and maintaining the cleanliness of walls, windows, and doors. Additionally, you will be responsible for dusting and waxing office furniture, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing floors, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets.
  • Maintenance of General Areas: Clean general kitchens, refill hand wash liquid soap, replace toilet paper, hand towels, and air fresheners, and empty and wash waste bins.
  • Upkeep of Cleaning Materials and Equipment: Ensure that all cleaning materials and equipment are properly maintained. Report any broken cleaning machines and equipment, clean machines (e.g., microwaves, vacuum cleaners) after use, and request new cleaning materials as needed.

Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Educational Requirements: ABET (Adult Basic Education and Training), with Grade 1-9 level education.
  • Experience: No prior experience is required, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity.
  • Competencies: Candidates should have the ability to work diligently, follow instructions accurately, and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
