Job Description
The Client Service Officer will play a crucial role in managing the services related to the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases (COID) Act. The main responsibilities include:
- Document Verification: Receive and verify documents required for claim registration, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
- Claims Registration: Register the claims on the operational system to facilitate timely processing and resolution.
- Employer Services Assistance: Provide support to employers using the kiosk, online systems, and service centers, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Customer Service: Handle queries and complaints related to services, ensuring client satisfaction by providing prompt and effective solutions.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Matriculation/Grade 12/National Senior Certificate.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, Compensation Fund business strategies, value chain, and performance requirements, as well as the PFMA and Treasury Regulations. Understanding of customer service principles, especially the Batho Pele principles.
- Skills: Proficiency in computer literacy, business writing, listening skills, telephone etiquette, and basic interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
