City of Cape Town Metro Police and Traffic Learnership

City of Cape Town is offering unemployed South African jobseekers with grade 12 the opportunity to apply for Metro Police and Traffic Learnership.

Requirements:

Grade 12 qualification (of which documentary proof must be
furnished)
Be a permanent resident within the jurisdiction of Cape Town (of
which documentary proof must be furnished)
Be proficient in English, and at least one other official language
Currently unemployed (STUDENTS & EPWP STAFF ELIGIBLE TO
APPLY)
Be at least 18 years old and under 35 years old
Must be medically and physically fit to undergo strenuous physical
training.
Applicants should be fully aware of their health status and
capabilities when arriving for the fitness assessments, as
excellent physical fitness and mental resilience is a requirement
for the post.
Must be able to work in a team and cope with stressful situations
No Criminal Record
Must have a valid driving licence license minimum code B (manual
transmission)
Trainees must successfully complete the Further Education and
Training Certificate: Road
Traffic Law Enforcement as well as Law Enforcement Skills Program
SP4/2012
No tattoos which will be visible when wearing any uniform of the
service.
