Job Description

Purpose Statement:

The primary role is to welcome clients and manage the branch flow through efficient queue functioning. This includes providing exceptional client service, assisting clients at ATMs, and completing transactions on remote or self-service channels. The position offers the chance to acquire the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary for service consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist clients as they enter the branch.
  • Manage and streamline the client queue for optimal flow.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients using ATMs.
  • Facilitate transactions via remote or self-service channels.

Experience:

Minimum:

  • No experience required, but candidates must hold a Grade 12 National Certificate.

Ideal:

  • Some client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.

Ideal or Preferred:

  • Understanding of bank branch environments.
  • Knowledge of Capitec Bank products and business processes (internal).

Skills:

  • Communication Skills.
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
  • Interpersonal & Relationship Management Skills.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record.
  • Must have fingerprints recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
