Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
- Skills: Computer literacy is essential.
- Experience: 0–1 year in a related field.
- Knowledge:
- SOCPEN system
- Relevant legislation (e.g., Social Assistance Act, SASSA Act)
- Policies, procedures, and standards for social assistance.
- Organizational awareness and arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls efficiently.
- Register and escalate calls by capturing them in the Customer Care Application system.
- Investigate and provide feedback to clients.
- Update information in the Integrated Customer Care Application system.
- Monitor and follow up on requests escalated to back-office teams.
- Respond to email inquiries.
- Educate clients on SASSA processes and direct calls to relevant officials.
