AMSOL, is offering unemployed Matriculants an exciting learnership opportunity for 2024. This program aims to empower and upskill individuals who are passionate about seagoing Certificate of Proficiency.

The learnership program will provide participants with valuable hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in various aspects of the maritime sector. The program is open to individuals who have completed their matric or equivalent qualification.

During the learnership, participants will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the industry. They will gain practical skills and insights into the day-to-day operations of a maritime company

Successful applicants will receive a stipend for the duration of the learnership. They will also have access to mentorship and support from AMSOL's experienced team.

Who can apply

• Grade 12 Matric certificate or highest educational qualification.
• Proof of residence in any of the above municipal areas (Utility Bill or Letter from Ward Committee or Councillor).
• A comprehensive CV.
• A motivation letter outlining why they are the ideal candidate and provide specific reasons why they want to work in the Deck or Engine Department onboard a ship.
