Vacancy Overview

Position: Clerk (Admin)
Location: White River, Mpumalanga
Division: Manufactured Timber Products

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • General Administrative Duties: Perform a variety of clerical tasks to support the division’s operations.
  • Daily Scanning and Saving: Ensure timber intake notes are correctly verified, scanned, and saved to the public drive.
  • Data Capturing: Accurately capture timber intake data on Excel spreadsheets and TWK timber tickets on the AS400 system.
  • Verification and Query Follow-Up: Verify the accuracy of records and follow up on any queries that arise.
  • Supervision: Oversee the activities of weighbridge clerks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assistance: Step in to assist with the duties of invoice clerks or weighbridge clerks when they are unavailable.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Matric / Grade 12.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or financial role.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Language Skills: Trilingual abilities would be an advantage.
