Social grants are no longer collected at the Agency’s offices and Post Office, but grant holders may withdraw funds at selected retail stores, such as Shoprite, Checkers, U-save, Pick ‘n Pay, and Boxer as well as ATMs.
Grant beneficiaries also have the option of using their bank accounts for their Sassa monthly payments.
Sassa has mentioned that beneficiaries don't need to fetch their Sassa grant payments on that specific day as once the money is in the account, it will remain there until it is needed.
