Mtembeni Ndevu mostly know as Emtee files for divorce. Emtee got married to his wife Nicole Kendall Ndevu  and the marriage has not been fairy-tale , In 2020 Emtee twitted post about how unhappy he is in the marriage. He went as far as describing his marriage as “toxic marriage”. He said that he wants to leave the marriage before it ends in tears. He complained about his wife’s family interfering a lot in his marriage matters .

Early this year Emtee’s wife Nicole laid charges against him .She accused Emtee of beating her and Emtee himself denied the accusations. His wife said that he beat her up on Valentine’s Day .When all of this was happening his wife was 7 months pregnant .They were expecting their third born .

When he went to court to face this  accusation of beating his wife  South African rappers like Sjava went  to support him.Emtee’s wife dropped the charges later on.
