Introduction
Since the start of covid 19 the South African Social Security Agency (sassa ) has introduced the new R370 Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD Grant ) to assist those unemployed South African between the ages of 18 and 60 years who need financial help however some sassa grant clients have not been Approved. SASSA Payments Dates for May
Payments (for clients who are approved for the month of May 2024) will be processed from 25-30 May 2024

| 26-27 May 2024 | 2nd Batch |
| 27-28 May 2024 | 3rd batch |
| 28-31 May 2024 | 4th batch |
Important note
- Clients are encouraged to view their status on the SRD website for the exact date that payment will reflect into their bank accounts
- NB: funds will take about 2-3 working days to reflect in the client's account after payment has been processed
