Important Update on Sassa SRD Grant
e South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) is providing further updates regarding the Special Relief of Distress (SRD) grant, particularly in terms of payments and applications, following the end of the State of Disaster.
Initially, the SRD grant was managed through the National Disaster Act. However, with the State of Disaster now concluded, the grant will be administered under the Social Relief Assistance Act to ensure continued support.

Sassa Reapplication:
- Visit the Sassa Website: Go to the official Sassa website (www.sassa.gov.za) and navigate to the SRD grant application section.
- Submit Your Application: Complete the online application form with all the required details.
- Confirmation: Once you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation SMS.
